Sermon notes

THE QUESTION

WHO TOLD YOU

THAT YOU ARE NAKED?

Shame asks a question God did not start. In the garden, the man and the woman hid because they believed a voice that was not the Lord.

THE ACCUSATION

SHAME IS NOT

THE LAST WORD.

The serpent twisted what God had said. An identity that begins in accusation cannot lead you home. Bring the question back to the One who called you.

THE RESTORING WORD

NO CONDEMNATION.

A NEW CREATION.

In Christ there is no condemnation. The old has passed. You are not asked to manage shame. You are invited to walk in the freedom God has already spoken.
